Bayern Munich have been told to DOUBLE their opening offer this week for Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane.
The Germany international is Bayern's top target for the summer market and an offer of €40m was tabled this week.
However, Fussball Transfers says City sports chief Txiki Begiristain has informed Bayern they want €80m to sell Sane.
With a deal to 2021, Sane has agreed personal terms with Bayern over a five-year arrangement.
Interestingly, it's claimed Sane was all set to sign a new contract with City last summer, only to be persuaded otherwise by Bayern players he is close to.
Sane is now in regular contact - sometimes daily - with Bayern players and staff about joining them for next season.
