Manchester City striker Jordy Hiwula is delighted to be off the mark for loan club Walsall.
Hiwula struck in the Saddlers' win over Doncaster Rovers.
"I wanted to get off the mark as quickly as possible, so to score four minutes after coming on was great for me," he said. "I made a run in front of the defender and the cross was just right for me to head home.
"I only arrived on Thursday but the lads have really welcomed me into the group and I am delighted that I was able to play my part in the win.
"I learned a lot during my loan spell at Yeovil earlier in the season and I can really benefit from that experience here.
"I think that playing competitive football and being away from home and my usual environment can only help in my development.
"When Walsall came in for me, I wanted to come here because I know that this club has a reputation for developing young players and the style of football is really good.
"Now I just can't wait for Tuesday's game."
