Manchester City's Yaya Toure has been crowned the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Footballer of the Year for 2013.
The 30-year old Ivory Coast midfielder has won the award for the third time to join former Ghanaian ace Abedi Pele and Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o as the three players to win on three occasions.
Toure, who also took out the BBC's African Footballer of the Year in December, won the award from Nigerian midfielder John Obi Mikel (Chelsea) and fellow Ivorian Didier Drogba (Galatasaray).
The Glo CAF awards ceremony took place in Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday evening.
