Man City star Toure not interested in tracking back - Arsenal great Henry

Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry believes that Yaya Toure is not interested in doing the dirty work in midfield for Manchester City.

Toure has come under heavy criticism for his performance in City's 2-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal on Monday night and many feel that it was due to the midfielder's negligence of defensive duties which allowed Mesut Ozil to prosper at the Etihad Stadium on the night.

Now even former Gunners ace Henry has gone on to slam Toure and has stated that the 32-year-old star is never interested in tracking back despite playing in midfield.

Henry told Sky Sports: "Tracking back is not his forte anymore and was never actually his forte. But he doesn't even try to come back anymore.

"I thought that he was going to play as a 10 and (David) Silva wide and (Fabian) Delph inside.

"I think if they carry on playing Yaya Toure as a holding midfielder - especially away from home - they will struggle. At home you can get by but he has to play high."
