Manchester City star Leroy Sane is continuing his knee surgery recovery in Germany.

BILD says Sane has headed to Germany to step up his rehabilitation from the nasty knee injury he picked up during the Community Shield victory over Liverpool.

Sane is now undertaking part of his rehab with the preferred doctor of German giants Bayern Munich.

Dr Christian Fink is the man of choice, who has regularly worked with players of the Bavarian club on their recovery processes in the past.

And it's reported 'everything is going according to plan' in the view of the medical staff treating Sane in his homeland.
