Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is not losing any sleep over another PFA snub.
Aguero has enjoyed a fantastic season this term, scoring 31 goals in only 40 appearances, and his achievement is made all the more impressive due to the fact that he has been troubled by a host of injury problems throughout the campaign.
The goal scoring haul, which includes a league-high 25 in England's top flight, is the best yet in Aguero's illustrious career but despite his wonderful record, the striker was strangely ignored in the voting for the PFA awards, failing to make the Team of the Year.
However, the Argentine star is not too bothered by the rejection and has stated that he is instead concentrating on improving even further next season.
Aguero told the Manchester Evening News: "It also happened in the season when I scored 23 goals and we won the Premier League and I didn't get the Young Player of the Season award.
"So my job is just to keep working as hard as I can, and keep scoring goals - I expect to do the same again next season. I started the season very well, but then got injured, and after I came back with the more minutes I played, I got better and better. I try to do that every season.
"Every season is different - I hope I can keep scoring like this, but defenders now know me a bit better and defend against me in different ways. My job is to score goals, but what I really want next season is for City to win titles."
