Manchester City are set to sign Columbus Crew goalkeeper Zack Steffen.

Sky Sports says Steffen is set join on January 1 for a fee between £5m and £8m.

The 23-year-old, who has six caps for the USA, came through the ranks at Freiburg before joining Columbus Crew in 2016.

City are still negotiating the transfer fee for the Pennsylvania-native but it is expected that an agreement will be reach soon ahead of the winter transfer window opening.
