Rio Ferdinand admitted Manchester City's announcement of Pep Guardiola ruined his day.
City confirmed the appointment of the Spaniard on Monday with the former Barcelona boss set to replace Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium in the summer.
Regarding the news, Manchester United great Ferdinand suggested he was slightly unhappy with the fact a manager which such a successful record would be taking over at the Red Devils' rivals, however, there was some slight optimism from the ex-England international.
