Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini revealed Carlos Tevez had refused to go on as a second-half substitute in the 2-0 Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich. Nigel de Jong had already replaced striker Edin Dzeko in a surprise substitution after which the Argentinean was told by Mancini he would also be thrown into the fray as City chased a two-goal deficit.
However, Mancini told Sky Sports 2: "He refused to come on.
