Man City's Silva dismisses talk of two-horse title race

David Silva does not believe that the Premier League title race will be down to Manchester City and Manchester United. The City playmaker is refusing to read anything into such reports and claims there are still a handful of sides that could get their hands on the silverware.

"I would not discard Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal in the title race," he told AS.

"It will not just be a duel between Manchester United and City."

"This season we are better and our aim is to win big titles," he added.

The World Cup winner feels he is a better player now than he was when he arrived at Eastlands in the summer of 2010.

"In one year I have improved a lot," he said.

"Since arriving in England I think I am a better player.

"I am now more complete than I was during my time in Valencia. I think the pace of the English game has helped me."
