Alvaro Negredo says he would love to be given more opportunities to prove himself for Spain ahead of next year's World Cup.
The Manchester City striker scored in Friday night's 2-1 win over Belarus before adding another international goal in Tuesday's 2-0 triumph over Georgia and is now looking to continue his good form under Vicente del Bosque next time he gets a chance for La Roja.
"I'm very grateful for every minute I get on the pitch and I try to make the most of my chances. It's always important to do that and I hope I get many more," he told AS.
Negredo, who started in the absence of attacking quartet David Villa, Fernando Torres, Roberto Soldado and Fernando Llorente, has now scored 10 goals in 19 internationals for Spain.
