Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is not too perturbed by the fact his side sits six points behind league leaders Manchester United.
City beat Newcastle United 3-1 on Saturday but United produced the same scoreline at home against Sunderland to remain two wins ahead of their nearest rivals.
City were in a similar position last season but went on to clinch the title and Mancini feels they are good enough to do the same this campaign.
"With all our problems we are six points behind and have another 21 to play," he said.
"In six months everything can change and I am confident just like ¬last year.
"If we put our heads in our job, we can do very, very well.
"It's important to play always at 100 per cent with a good attitude."
