Mario Balotelli's agent has likened the strikers relationship with manager Roberto Mancini as that of a married couple.
Over the journey, there have been plenty of minor controversies involving the duo highlighted by Mancini's decision to leave Balotelli completely out of his squad for the weekend's win over Tottenham.
Balotelli's omission was due to tactics and not because he was injured according to Mancini, prompting rumours that he could be on his way out at the Etihad Stadium soon.
But the players representative, Mino Raiola, has explained that the pair have a good relationship even if at times it doesn't appear that way.
"His relationship with Mancini is like that between a husband and his wife," Raiola told Radio CRC. "They argue, but they love and respect each other so much.
"Everyone has their own ideas, but Mario will remain at Manchester City. He won't go to AC Milan.
"He will be a City player for at least another two-and-a-half years because Mario is not thinking about other clubs."
