Man City's 2-goal Alvarez: Winning CWC makes me want to do it again!

Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez says winning the Club World Cup makes him hungry to do it again.

Alavrez scored twice as City thrashed Fluminense 4-0 in Jeddah on Friday.

“It's incredible and personally, I am very happy," said Alvarez.

“We came here to achieve this. We had two games; we knew it wasn't going to be easy.

“But to be - in a short time - world champion with the club and with the Argentinian national team is a source of pride. It is something that I've dreamed of dreams of since childhood and having achieved this gives me a lot of satisfaction.

“The truth is that I have achieved the most important titles that a player can achieve and at only 23 years-old.

“But my mentality is to continue doing it this way, to do what I love, to play football and what makes me happy is being on the field.

“And obviously you have to compete to win. And the desire now is to continue doing the same and try to win (these titles) again, because the feeling of having achieved all these things is very nice.

“So I'm going to try my best to feel that again."

The Argentina striker added: “Last season and from the first moment they have helped me a lot. I have grown a lot as a player, as a person, so in terms of that, I am happy at the club.

“And obviously one continues to dream and continues to want to win more titles. Now our goal is to win them all over again!"
