Manchester City are ready to bring European champ Samuel Eto'o to England in the summer.

Marca says big spenders City intend to splash out on the Cameroon international, who is set to enter the final year of his existing Barca deal.

Despite Eto'o's claims that he wants to stay at the Nou Camp, City are confident they can convince the prolific forward to move to England with a bumper contract offer.

Spanish reports also suggest City will meet Kia Joorabchian's asking price for Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez.
