Manchester City are prepared to offload Brazilian forward Robinho to German club Schalke 04. The former Real Madrid man, who enjoyed a loan spell with homeland club Santos last season, is not in City boss Roberto Mancini's plans this season and the Eastlands outfit are set to get rid of him for around £18million.
Schalke have expressed interest in the 26-year old and are keen to link him up with another ex-Madrid star, Raul, who they recently signed.
If this move goes ahead, if will give City the all-clear to go after Benfica defender David Luiz who is rated at £33million.
