Manchester City are pursuing Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi.
The Daily Mail says City boss Mark Hughes wants to bring in a central defender, with City inquiring about Inter Milan veteran Materazzi as well as maintaining an interest in Chelsea's Alex.
