Manchester City are preparing a massive offer for AS Monaco fullback Layvin Kurzawa. The Daily Star Sunday says Kurzawa, 22, flew to Manchester last Tuesday to discuss a move to City in January's transfer window.
But he did not attend City's Champions League victory against Bayern Munich that night in an attempt to keep his proposed move secret.
It is understood Kurzawa, who has also interested Manchester United and Chelsea, watched the match on TV in a Manchester hotel.
And City could yet face late competition for Kurzawa from United, who could see him as an alternative to Luke Shaw.
