Man City players will get 'slaughtered' for underperforming says Hart

Joe Hart feels copping criticism is part and parcel of being a Manchester City player.

In recent times, the reigning Premier League champions have been slated for underperforming with captain Vincent Kompany coming under intense scrutiny.

Like his skipper, goalkeeper Hart has been the subject of negativity in the past but he says being at a club like City means you simply have to accept the fact and move on to better performances.

"That's part of being at Man City. We all get talked about," the England number one said.

"I have been the worst keeper in the world recently and Vinny (Kompany) has been the worst defender in the world.

"We have all had our moment. That's the role of being at Man City. If we don't win we are going to get slaughtered."
