Manchester City midfielder Rodri has enjoyed his two seasons under manager Pep Guardiola.

Rodri left Atletico Madrid for City in 2020.

He told AS: "Guardiola is a born hard worker.

"An hour and a half before training, he is already in place. During breaks, Josep gives us directions more than shouts. He helps. Sometimes when we give in, I think, 'He'll raise his voice'. But no."

According to the midfielder, Guardiola pushes harder when things are going well than when things are going badly.

“Once we won, and yet Guardiola blurted out to me: 'What were you doing, son?'"
