Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan believes the players won't lose much condition during their enforced coronavirus break.
Speaking to Marca over a video call, Gundogan said he misses the day-to-day routine of training, but insisted that the health of everyone is the only concern at the moment.
He said, “It is a difficult time for everyone, of course. You miss the day to day of training, the feeling and the nerve that gives you a game.
“But right now I think that all this is taking a back seat, there is nothing more important than the health of everyone there outside. So my first message is: take good care of yourself all.
“We all have an individualized training plan and can also work in the home gym, so keeping fit is not a problem for me, really. I do miss having the ball on my feet all day, but the break I think will not affect me too much, I will keep in shape."
