Man City midfielder Grealish: I was intimidated by De Bruyne

Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish admits he was intimidated by his teammates last season.

Grealish, formerly of Aston Villa, is in his second year with City.

He told the Daily Mail: "When I arrived at Manchester City I was a bit in awe. I could hear my name being yelled at: 'Jack, pass it!' And I thought, 'F**k, but that's de Bruyne, better give it to him.

"See what I mean? He's my idol. Now I see my teammates as friends.

"Sometimes the pundits on TV they leave me speechless because they talk about us footballers as if they've never had a bad day. They criticise me because I keep the ball too much, but before the match against Bayern do you know what (Pep) Guardiola said to me? Possession and slow down the pace'. That's what I do."
