Edinson Cavani says he is keen to remain with Italian club Napoli despite a fresh link with Manchester City.
The 24-year old Uruguay international, who has already been linked with Manchester United, says he wants to repay the faith shown in him by the Naples club and will stay on for at least next season.
"I'm very happy with everything that Naples and its people have given me, and that's why we'll be there again next year," he told Fifa.com.
Cavani was asked whether he was aware that City wear sky blue like Napoli and Uruguay but he says it is merely coincidence.
"That's true. I'm a believer and all these things do seem like messages," he added.
"They're just coincidences though."
