Manchester City are edging closer to landing Santos star Neymar.Punto Pelota says there's fresh doubts inside Barca about signing Neymar over whether he will unsettle the balance of the squad and morale inside the locker room.

City would have to cover the €10 million penalty clause Neymar will have to pay to Barca to break his pre-contract.

The Brazilian's father, along with agent Pini Zahavi and ex-Barcelona president Joan Laporta, met with City chief Txiki Begiristain in London last week.

Despite Laporta's denials, it's suggested he is acting as an adviser to Neymar and along with the London meeting, he visited the Etihad last month.
