Manchester City are moving for Chelsea defender David Luiz. Mercato365 says City boss Roberto Mancini, desperate for a new centre-half signing, is moving for Luiz. He has already seen bids of £13 million and £16 million for Dan Agger turned down by Liverpool.
Luiz may be squeezed out of the first team at Chelsea with John Terry and Gary Cahill to start the season as Roberto di Matteo's first-choice central defensive pairing.
City will push for Luiz, though Blues owner Roman Abramovich is reluctant to sell.
