Man City kitman Chapman: Pellegrini made club happier place

Manchester City kitman Les Chapman admits the club is a happier place under manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Pellegrini finished his first season at City with the Premier League and Capital One Cup Double.

Chapman, who retired at the end of last season, told the Manchester Evening News: "How do (Roberto) Mancini and Pellegrini differ? Well, he (Pellegrini) actually speaks, which is more than the previous one did.

"He is a cool guy, a gentleman and says hello. It's certainly a lot happier dressing room.

"I would think next season they would do well again. I'd imagine they will sign a couple of world-class players and add to the world class squad. I can see success being a regular thing. I can see success going on and on."
