Man City keeper Joe Hart set to replace Chelsea's Gary Cahill as England captain

Manchester City keeper Joe Hart is likely to replace Chelsea defender Gary Cahill as England captain in the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Scotland.

The 31-year-old was the skippered the Three Lions in their 1-0 friendly defeat to Germany in March but, due to a suspension, he was replaced by Hart against Lithuania four days later.

Daily Star claims that England manager Gareth Southgate is set to prefer Hart over Cahill in the game at Hampden Court on Saturday.
