Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart will be missing from today's Community Shield clash with Chelsea.

Hart is out of the Community Shield and England's friendly against Italy on Wednesday.

He has suffered a minor back injury, which means Norwich's John Ruddy will make his England debut in Berne and manager Roy Hodgson may have to consider putting Birmingham's Jack Butland on the bench.

Romanian Costel Pantilimon is in line to play for City against Chelsea at Villa Park.
