Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart insists England players left everything on the pitch in their consecutive World Cup defeats.
Hart insists he enjoyed being part of the loss to Uruguay.
"No one wants to come close, we all want to be the other side of that line. In terms of giving everything, in terms of committing our lives to this tournament there's obviously more we could have done, we could have played better but I think we have left it all on the pitch.
"I thought it was a brilliant game against Uruguay and I loved being a part of it. I loved the atmosphere, the conditions, I loved our fans. It just wasn't quite enough from us."
