AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato remains on trial for coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Sportmediaset says Allegri is undecided about keeping hold of Pato due to his injury problems and scratchy form.

"We must understand that he has room for improvement, we need a different mindset, the only way to improve is to put yourself into question, the 'old' Milan are an example," said Allegri.

Arsenal made an enquiry about Pato's situation last month, while the Brazilian is a favourite of Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas.

Manchester City, meanwhile, are being linked with Pato this week. It's been suggested swap talks could be set up which would see Pato move to Etihad in exchange for Mario Balotelli.
