Manchester City fullback Greg Leigh is set to extend his loan with Crewe Alexandra.
The 20-year-old joined the Alex in January from Manchester City and has featured 23 times so far this season.
The Sentinel says the Premier League champions confirmed this afternoon that the athletic wing-back will stay at Crewe until the end of the season with his initial deal coming to an end today.
Leigh is the first of Crewe's loan players to commit their futures to the Alex, with Jamie Ness (Stoke City), Nicky Ajose (Leeds United) and Anthony Stewart (Wycombe Wanderers) all seeing their loan deals with the Alex end today.
