Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has had another training ground bust-up with manager Roberto Mancini.

The Daily Mail says he provoked an angry reaction from Mancini at the club's Carrington training ground.

Balotelli received a severe dressing down from a furious Mancini in front of the stunned City squad, and was then apparently ordered to train on his own.

The Barclays Premier League title contenders dismissed the row as an example of the high standards set by Mancini, who himself provoked controversy at the weekend after refusing to speak to the media following City's 1-1 draw at Stoke.
