Manchester City are eyeing Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross.
The Sunday Express says Shawcross is being sized up as a replacement for Joleon Lescott at City.
Shawcross learned his trade at Manchester United.
Cardiff City skipper Steven Caulker is also under consideration at City.
