Manchester City defender Reece Wabara is delighted with his move to Blackpool.

The defender, 21, is kicking himself for spending too long in the comfy confines of Manchester City's reserve team.

Wabara joined the Seasiders on loan this week - just days after scoring in Oldham's FA Cup giant-killing win over Liverpool.

And he said: "I wish I'd gone out and played more games when I was younger. I've learnt my lesson and realised that it's all about playing and showing people what you can do."
