Manchester City defender Ben Mee hopes to sign permanently for Burnley.

The Clarets hope to tie up a deal for the on-loan centre-half, having already signed teammate Kieran Tripper this week.

Mee said: "Yes, we'll have to see what happens.

"It's up to the club to speak to me and have a word with City I guess, so we'll wait and see what happens.

"I'm really happy here."
