Porto are closing on a deal to re-sign Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala.

O Jogo says Mangala's time City is seemingly about to come to an end.

The defender is in Portugal ahead of a return to Porto, ending his five-year stint as a City player having signed for the Blues from the Portuguese outfit for some £31.8million in 2014.

Mangala was held onto by manager Pep Guardiola last season over a concern regarding his centre-half options, but is now happy for the Frenchman to leave.
