Eliaquim Mangala appears to be close to joining Valencia on loan.
Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague Tweeted that the Spanish club are close to landing the French defender on loan but have ruled out a possible move for Manchester United's Marcos Rojo.
Mangala had also been heavily linked with a return to former club Porto but it looks as though Valencia will and him on a season-long loan.
It is also understood that Los Che boss Pako Ayestaran wants Zenit Saint Petersburg's Ezequiel Garay at the Mestalla.
Valencia news: Mangala close to sign a loan deal. Rojo not considered atm. Garay is the other CB they want
