Manchester City are confident of signing Liverpool midfielder Raheem Sterling this summer. The People says City believe they are close to winning the race for £55million-rated Liverpool contract rebel Sterling.

City believe they will get the youngster tied down quickly once the campaign ends with promises of a £165k-a-week deal, including incentives that could see him earn £200,000 a-week if the Blues win trophies, and Champions League football.
