Manchester City are confident Phil Foden will be available for Saturday's clash with Wolves.
The Englishman picked up an ankle issue on international duty last month.
Foden sat out two matches after exacerbating the injury against Everton on November 21.
The 21-year-old was withdrawn during his return against RB Leipzig on Tuesday, which saw City lose 2-1.
Speaking after the game, manager Pep Guardiola explained: "Phil had problems in the beginning of the game with his ankle.
"He struggled a little bit so he was taken off as a precaution and we put Raheem (Sterling) in his position."
However, the Daily Mail says City are hopeful Foden will be fit to face Wolves.
