Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is joining the battle for Santos star Neymar. Chelsea, Real Madrid and Russians Anzhi are all chasing the Brazil international.
The People says Mancini has sent top spy Attilio Lombardo to the Copa America to give his expert view on which player City should buy to take over from unhappy skipper Carlos Tevez.
They will smash the £50million British transfer record if they have to - Neymar is valued at £45m by Santos - and are ready to take on Real Madrid and Chelsea for his signature.
