Manchester City coach Attilio Lombardo says they won't take lightly NextGen opponents Fenerbahce.

The Blues come up against a Fenerbahce side that recorded a point against Italian powerhouses Juventus in their first NextGen Series encounter in an entertaining 3-3 draw in Italy.

"It will be a difficult game [against Fenerbahce] we need to work hard and prepare for the game because we want to win," said Lombardo to City's website.

"Fenerbahce drew against Juventus who are a really top team so we how tough it will be."
