Manchester City boss Mark Hughes had mixed feelings about the 1-1 draw at Fulham. Both goals came in the first period, first Benjani Mwaruwari gave City an early lead only for Jimmy Bullard to reply before the break.
"We had 12 or so senior players out and played in midweek but I think that's the first point after a European date so we are reasonably happy," Hughes said. "It's a good point, they've had a decent run of late.
"We changed the shape somewhat and Michael Ball came in and did a good job, used his experience at the right time.
"We looked quite comfortable and were never under sustained pressure from Fulham, so in the end we're maybe a little disappointed we couldn't nick the three points."
