Manchester City chief Patrick Vieira says France must take Newcastle United star Hatem Ben Arfa to the Euros.

Ben Arfa hasn't played for France in 20 months, winning the last of his eight caps as a substitute against Norway in August 2010 before being ruled out for the season with a broken leg.

Arsenal legend Vieira said: "Ben Arfa deserves to go to the Euros. The way he is playing, he has a very strong claim."
