Manchester City chief Txiki Begiristain is stepping up his interest in Sevilla fullback Alberto Moreno.
The talented left-back has been linked with Europe's biggest clubs this season, including Manchester United, Real Madrid and Liverpool this week.
Estadio Deportivo says Begiristain is intensifying his interest in Moreno, having made a personal check on him in Portugal last week in Sevilla's Europa League clash at Porto.
Begiristain will have City scouts posted to make another check on the €30 million-rated defender tonight for the return-leg.
