Man City captain Gundogan: Arsenal trip toughest match in years

Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan insists that his side will be taking risks against Arsenal in midweek.

The Premier League title may be on the line when the two top sides meet at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have a three point lead, having played one less game than City, which means the Citizens can go top if they win the clash.

“Most probably it is going to be one of the toughest games we have played in recent years, against a very strong Arsenal side with a very similar style of play with a great manager and a great team. With this win (against Villa), I think we are ready to go on Wednesday," said Gundogan, per Manchester Evening News.

"That is the target. We will travel to London to try to win the game and get the three points, even though we know it is going to be hard, but it is going to be a top game and we will try to get the three points.

"We are playing against the best side in England so far this season, so it is going to be a top game. They are a side that we know very well. We expect football on the highest level and we are all looking forward to it."
