Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has welcomed Samir Nasri's return from injury.
The Frenchman has been sidelined since sustaining a calf injury during the final moments of a 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park on January 10.
Pellegrini said: "Samir is a very important player for our team but we also won games without Samir.
"It is important for me to have the whole squad and then I have to decide and it is an easy decision when you have alternatives.
"He is a very important player and I think he will be important for the team but we cannot think that because Samir couldn't play we couldn't win.
