Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini hopes to have David Silva available for their Champions League decider against AS Roma.
He is set to resume full training next week and could be available for the home game with Everton on December 6 - four days before City play in Rome.
Silva had been unable to kick a ball until this week.
Pellegrini revealed: "He's just starting (to kick a ball).
"We hope that next week he could be 100 per cent - at least kicking the ball with normality - and we will see if he can be the squad also."
