Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini was delighted with two-goal David Silva after victory over Newcastle United.
Silva was outstanding in the 5-0 rout.
Pellegrini said: "I think David has already improved a lot. In the last game against Stoke he came back from an injury in his knee.
"Maybe he was not playing 100 per cent a few weeks ago but when he is 100 per cent he always makes a difference.
"It is always very important for David and the team to have him in good condition."
