Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is tightlipped on extending the loan of Frank Lampard.
After victory over Southampton, the 61-year-old also took time to praise goalscorer Lampard - but remained coy on speculation regarding the midfielder's future.
"I don't want to talk about it at this moment," he shrugged. "The presence of Frank is very important to the team - he's a top player and he knows exactly how he must play. You can't teach anything to him - just allow him to play the way he knows.
"I am very glad for him because he is a great person and a great professional. I always try to have the best players in my team but now we are thinking about other things."
