Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini insists he wants to keep Wayne Bridge.
The signing of Lazio left-back Aleksandar Kolarov suggests that Bridge may struggle for a first-team spot next season, with Liverpool being linked with a move for the former Chelsea defender.
But Mancini insists that he wants to have the required strength in depth to challenge for trophies at home and on the continent during the forthcoming campaign.
The Italian said: "'I want two top-class players for each position," said the Italian.
